Whole Transcriptome Sequencing of Parent and Stable Mutants of Wheat under Heat Stress

A mutant of wheat was generated using gamma-irradiation and was screened and stabilized for thermotolerance in continuous seven generation. The pooled samples (Spike, stem, leaves and root) of parent and stable mutants under control and HS-treated conditions were used for the whole transcriptome sequencing using Illumina HiSeq2500 in order to understand the mechanism underlying thermotolerance and to explore the candidate SAGs.
