Arthrospira platensis is a cyanobacteria which is rich in proteins. It is known for its immunostimulant activity, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and probiotic activities. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the key genes involved in various functions. In this background, we tried to identify the functional genes involved in various biological, cellular and molecular functions. This provides information for the researchers to understand the molecular profile of A. platensis which may lead to identification of various potential pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
