资源简介:
In this work an integrated study was carried out, showing the ability of two bacterial consortia, pre-enriched in two culture media (LB and PG), to degrade pure textile wastewater, without pretreatment and without the addition of nutritional sources. The best results in terms of percentage of decolorization, reduction of COD and decrease of toxicity were achieved with the consortium obtained from the LB medium pre-enrichment compared to the GP medium. These results highlight the importance of the selection of the appropriate culture media to optimize the degradation efficiency. Use of native consortia is a promising tool since they are adapted to the adverse conditions of wastewater discharge sites, and because they have a synergistic and complementary behavior compared to pure cultures that makes microbial communities more efficient for the degradation of pollutants such as azo-dyes.
