资源简介:
This is the accompagnying dataset of the manuscript "Trends in the annual snow melt-out day over the French Alps and the Pyrenees from 38 years of high resolution satellite data (1986-2023)" submitted to The Cryosphere by Zacharie Barrou Dumont, Simon Gascoin, Jordi Inglada, Andreas Dietz, Jonas Köhler, Matthieu Lafaysse, Diego Monteiro, Carlo Carmagnola, Arthur Bayle, Jean-Pierre Dedieu, Olivier Hagolle, and Philippe Choler [1].
The dataset contains the annual snow melt out day (SMOD) in the French Alps and Pyrenees at 20 m resolution. The SMOD were computed with the let-it-snow software v1.10 from a collection of snow cover products (SPOT 1, SPOT 2, SPOT 3, SPOT 4, SPOT 5, Landsat 5, Landsat 7, Landsat 8, Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B). The snow cover products were computed following references [2] (SPOT), [3] (Sentinel-2) and [4] (Landsat).
Each file is named according to the following convention:
SMOD_${TILE}_{START_DATE}_{END_DATE}.tif
where TILE is the Sentinel-2 tile and START_DATE and END_DATE define the period of calculation.
For example :
SMOD_31TGM_19930901_19940831.tif
