The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) is a framework for companies and organizations to disclose climate-related risks and opportunities. The number of financial institutions that support the TCFD grew rapidly between 2018 and 2021. The number of TCFD supporter financial institutions was 1,069 in 2021, responsible for 194 trillion U.S. dollars in assets.
