资源简介:
The shows data of Quantitative Research where students were involved in the study comprises of management students from various colleges in India. These students were selected by purposive sampling through the authors professional networking. The participants were requested to fill the e-questionnaire pertaining to inculcation of decision-making skills, through design thinking. The test was based on self-report technique & the participants were assured of anonymity. The inculcation of decision-making ability among the management students through design thinking, was measured by a standardized decision-making attainment scale, which is the self-administered scale wherein the subject is instructed to put tick mark under any one of the given 4 alternatives – “Agree”, “Strongly Agree”, “Disagree” or “Strongly Disagree”. The test consists of 25 statements trying to measure varied aspects of inculcation of problem solving. The total time taken to complete the test is around 10 minutes. Also, there were certain questions that were with 2 alternative – “Yes” or “No”. The file shows responses of students, using likert scale data and paired sample t test were used, to prove the hypothesis. The author conducted a discussion with a set of students and interviews were lined up. E-Questionnaires were accessed by these students and they answered the questions. Using the responses obtained by investigating the proposed hypotheses:
Hypothesis 1: Design thinking process inculcates decision making skill among the management students, apart from using the traditional analytical skills.
