Charging stations for electric vehicles in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (IRVE)

With the aim of creating a national directory of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (IRVE), open and accessible to all, the South Region has been hosting IRVE charging stations on the regional territory since 2018. **Source:** This dataset is consolidated at national level on the website [Data.gouv.fr](https://www.data.gouv.fr/en/datasets/file-consolide-des-bornes-de-recharge-pour-vehicules-electriques) **Official texts** * Order dated 12 January 2017, obliging public and private developers and operators to open data concerning the geographical location and technical characteristics of charging stations and points for electric vehicles. * Order of 4 May 2021 obliging local authorities carrying out an IRVE installation project to publish on the data.gouv.fr platform the static data relating to the location and technical characteristics of these installations. ORECA has added several pieces of information such as the EPCI to facilitate its handling.
