Identification and expression analysis of circRNAs in medaka gonads

In this study, circRNAs in medaka gonads were detected by RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq), and their potential roles according to host genes which were involved in reproductive were analyzed. A potential network of circRNA-miRNA was constructed to explore the interaction between different kinds of RNAs. The expression pattern of circRNAs was validated using qRT-PCR. Furthermore, circRNA was localized in subcells to understand its distribution in the gonads. These results could supply library for understanding the molecular mechanism of circRNAs in medaka.
