Table 1 – Flare contamination probabilities for Ariel targets with derived flare activity indicators (G. Galletta et al. 2026)
收藏资源简介:
This table is presented in G. Galletta et al. (2026), “Characterizing Stellar Flares in Ariel Targets: Activity Analysis and Transit Contamination”. It lists the subset of Ariel target planets for which a flare contamination probability could be computed from well-constrained two-segment flare frequency distributions. For each system we report the stellar bolometric luminosity (with uncertainty), the high-energy FFD slope, and the normalized flare activity index GF.01, together with the probability of observing at least one flare during a typical transit visit. Probabilities are provided for two energy thresholds, corresponding to flares releasing 100% and 10% of the stellar bolometric luminosity, respectively. Only planets with at least one defined probability are included. These quantities enable a direct assessment of the expected flare impact on Ariel transit spectroscopy and allow identification of high-risk targets, particularly among low-luminosity, flare-active stars.
