North Temperate Lakes LTER: Lake Levels 1981 - current

Lake level is measured at the shoreline using a twice-annually calibrated staff gauge for the seven primary lakes in the Trout Lake area (Allequash, Big Muskellunge, Crystal, Sparkling, and Trout lakes and unnamed lakes 27-02 [Crystal Bog], and 12-15 [Trout Bog]). Values presented in the database represent the water height in meters above sea level. Sampling Frequency: fortnightly during ice-free season, with the exception of 2020 in which sampling was monthly.
