21072024_Sirikupt_Thai Twitter Astroturfing February 2020 Dataset & Supplementary Information File

This dataset contains 14,430 Thai language tweets in February 2020 that were coded to support the analysis in the article "Drowning out dissent: The Thai military’s quest to fabricate popular support on Twitter" published in the International Journal of Press/Politics. The original archived dataset related to the Thai military's information operations -- which was released by Twitter in October 2020 -- can be accessed and downloaded from Twitter's “Hashed Information Operations Archive" webpage. Accompanying this dataset is a Supplementary Information File that contains coding ontology, intercoder reliability scores, and instructions for replication to enable downstream users to reproduce the generated outputs independently of the author.
