Open dataset of femoral cross-sectional geometry across ontogeny, including high resolution CT-derived structural variables, estimated ages, and proteomic sex identification.

The dataset comprises CT-derived cross-sectional geometric measurements from human femora recovered at the archaeological site of San Pablo Convent (Burgos, Spain). The dataset is provided as a single spreadsheet file (.xlsx) composed of four worksheets corresponding to different femoral locations: Midneck, Subtrochanteric, Midshaft, and Distal femur. Each worksheet contains cross-sectional geometric data extracted from the specified anatomical level. Each row represents a single femoral cross section derived from a CT scan. All worksheets share an identical column structure, combining individual-level metadata with quantitative cross-sectional geometric variables. All variables were harmonized using consistent metadata standards.
