Fire-resistant OSB (oriented strand board) material (1) consisting of a middle layer (3) and two outer layers (2)， whereby the layers (2， 3) primarily consist of bonded wood flakes (4)， characterised in that there are one or more fire-retardant agents in the middle layer (3) and one or both outer layers (2)， and the nature and/or the concentrations of them in the middle layer (3) are different to the nature and/or the concentrations of them in one or both outer layers (3).
