The research was carried out with two approaches, namely quantitative first and followed by qualitative. Research data is analyzed critically and comparatively, through this analysis technique research findings will become logical for the readers. Looking at the results of the study it can be concluded that; <i>First</i>, learning Arabic for non-Muslims in Indonesia has a great opportunity, this finding is based on the basic function of language as a communication tool. This includes the meaning that learning any language is not limited by religion, ethnicity, or race. <i>Second</i>, learning Arabic for non-Muslims in Indonesia will be part of the basis for the actualization of Wasathiyah Islam in Indonesia.This research uses a <i>mix method</i> or mixed methods. The design of this research was used <i>sequential explanatory design</i>, which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches sequentially.[26]. The quantitative approach used is in the form of a survey where the researcher conducted a survey to the respondents who are the research sample. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach used <i>focused interviews</i> which are described descriptively. The kind of this research is conducted to obtain more comprehensive data on “The Future of Arabic Language Learning for Non-Muslims as the Actualization of Wasathiyah Islam in Indonesia” because it integrates the benefits of the two methods. The samples used in this study were as many as 64 respondents. The sampling technique of this research used was a <i>cluster random sampling technique</i> combined with <i>convenience sampling</i>, meaning that the sample is taken at random and also selected based on the availability of respondents and the ease of obtaining data.Quantitative survey data were analyzed by doing a percentage of the data obtained from the questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. Meanwhile, qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. <i>First,</i> after the data was collected, the researcher classified the data based on the specified research problem. <i>Second,</i> the researcher presented the data according to the specified problem. <i>Third,</i> the researcher concluded the findings from the research problem. Based on the research findings, this analysis focused on the three problems that have been formulated and the data critically examined by following these three stages.
本研究采用定量先行、后续辅以定性的双路径研究方案开展。研究数据采用批判性与比较性分析方法进行处理,经此分析可使研究结论对读者具备充分的逻辑合理性。基于研究结果可得出如下结论:第一,在印度尼西亚面向非穆斯林开展阿拉伯语教学拥有广阔发展机遇,该结论基于语言作为沟通工具的基本属性得出,即任何语言的学习均不受宗教、民族或种族的限制。第二,在印度尼西亚面向非穆斯林开展阿拉伯语教学,将成为印度尼西亚中间主义伊斯兰(Wasathiyah Islam)实践落地的核心基础环节之一。本研究采用混合研究方法(mix method),具体研究设计为顺序解释性设计(sequential explanatory design),即按序结合定量与定性研究路径[26]。其中定量研究路径采用问卷调查法,研究者向作为研究样本的受访者开展调研。定性研究路径则采用焦点访谈(focused interviews)法,以描述性范式呈现研究内容。本研究旨在获取主题为"印度尼西亚面向非穆斯林的阿拉伯语教学未来:作为中间主义伊斯兰的实践路径"的更为全面的研究数据,因该研究整合了双方法的研究优势。本研究共纳入64名受访者作为研究样本,采用的抽样方法为整群随机抽样(cluster random sampling)结合便利抽样(convenience sampling),即样本既通过随机方式抽取,同时也基于受访者的可获得性与数据获取便捷性进行选取。定量调查数据首先通过计算问卷所得数据的占比进行初步处理,随后采用定量描述性分析方法开展进一步分析。定性数据则采用迈尔斯-休伯曼模型(Miles and Huberman model)进行分析,具体分为三个步骤:第一,数据收集完成后,研究者依据预设的研究问题对数据进行分类;第二,研究者根据预设研究问题呈现数据;第三,研究者基于研究问题提炼研究结论。本研究的分析围绕三大预设研究问题展开,并通过上述三阶段流程对数据进行批判性审视。
