Alpine meadows serve as a vital component of the alpine grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau. Conducting prolonged carbon flux monitoring within alpine meadow ecosystems has great significance in assessing and predicting the carbon source and sink functions of grassland ecosystems on the Tibetan Plateau. This dataset encompasses flux observation data derived from the Naqu alpine meadow ecosystem ranging from 2014 to 2018. The data was collected at the Naqu alpine meadow ecosystem field scientific observation and research station, which is situated in Naqu of the north Tibetan Plateau. Based on the open-path eddy covariance system, observations were made regarding carbon dioxide flux, along with heat and water fluxes. The dataset encompasses carbon, water, and heat flux data such as net ecosystem CO2 exchange, ecosystem respiration, gross primary productivity, evapotranspiration, and sensible heat flux, in conjunction with conventional meteorological data like air temperature, air relative humidity, soil temperature, soil moisture, photosynthetic active radiation, and precipitation. The dataset employs data processing methods recommended by China Flux Observation and Research Network (ChinaFLUX), resulting in data products on a 30-minute, daily, monthly, and annual scale. This dataset provides reliable data support and a theoretical basis for the scientific evaluation of the functions of alpine meadow ecosystems.
