This dataset contains 5781 images acquired by remotely piloted aircraft (DJI Phantom 4). These images map a transect across the Jabal Hafit anticline in the United Arab Emirates. Mapping area is c. 4000 m x 800 m. Acquisition date: 8 - 16 November 2017.Latitude: 24.090235Longitude: 55.762924Images were collected to carry out photo-based 3-D reconstruction (structure-from-motion and multi-view stereo), for geological mapping. Images have been separated into four geographical areas from east to west in eight compressed files:1a.zip = 810 jpg 1b.zip = 810 jpg2a.zip = 583 jpg2b.zip = 583 jpg3a.zip = 890 jpg3b.zip = 889 jpg4a.zip = 608 jpg4b.zip = 608 jpgTable S1.xlsx lists EXIF data for each image.Table S2.xlsx provides ground control point data.
