资源简介:
The DataSet contains the experimental results of the first mode shape for a beam and a plate. The beam of length L = 480 mm, width B = 60 mm and height H = 20 mm was made of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). The beam contained an open crack of length Lr = 2 mm and height a = 7 mm at a distance L1 = 120 mm from the clamped end. The depth of the crack was 35% of the height of the beam. The steel plate of length L = 560 mm, width B = 480 mm and height H = 2 mm was fixed on all four edges. The plate contained a rectangular defect of length Lr = 80 mm, width Br = 80 mm and height of a = 0.5 mm. The distance from the defect left-bottom corner to the plate left-bottom corner in horizontal and vertical directions was L1 = 200 mm and B1 = 200 mm, respectively. The area of the flaw was 2.4 % of the plate area and the depth of the flaw was 25 % of the plate height. The beam was subjected to dynamic impulse loading at 48 points along the length of the beam, perpendicular to the beam axis, while the plate was subjected to impulse loading at 143 points on its surface. Measurements were made using an accelerometer to record the response of the structure. The dynamic impulse loading was induced by the modal hammer PCB 086C03. The data was collected using the Pulse 3650C data acquisition system.
