资源简介:
The glacial deposits underlying southeastern Michigan, northeastern Indiana, and northwestern Ohio are a substantial source of water to communities, agriculture, and industry in the region. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, used processed data from the State-managed collections of well records to develop a hydrogeologic framework of the complex glacial aquifer and provide a conceptual understanding of groundwater resources in the study area. A three-dimensional hydrogeologic framework model of the region was generated to represent the subsurface distribution and thickness of unconsolidated deposits in the region. This dataset represents the hydrogeologic framework model in an ASCII text file containing coordinate, altitude and lithology data.
