Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Rissen Genome with antibiotic-multinresistance profile including mcr-1 mediated resistance to Colistin sequencing and assembly

Report of draft genome sequence of a Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Rissen strain with plasmid-mediated resistance to colistin encoded by the mcr-1 gene isolated in 2013 from a Vietnamese pig slaughterhouse. This finding help to understand the origin and the dissemination of mcr-1 in Salmonella spp. in East Asia as early as 2013.
