Dataset: Observations and Simulations of Bora episode in the Vipava valley

This dataset contains lidar-based observational data and numerical simulation results related to orography-induced atmospheric waves observed during a Bora wind event in the Vipava Valley, Slovenia, on January 25, 2019. The dataset supports the findings in the research article "Orography-Induced Atmospheric Small-Scale Waves During Bora Using Lidar Observations and Numerical Simulations", where two lidar systems were used to capture small-scale atmospheric wave dynamics, and high-resolution computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations were performed to complement the observations.
