Therapeutic effects of human neural progenitor cells derived from placental fibroblasts induced by small molecule compounds under normoxia on Parkinson's disease rat models

Human fibroblasts can be reprogrammed into ciNPCs using a chemical cocktail under normoxia. Compared with endogenous NPCs, these ciNPCs have similar characteristics in terms of cellular properties, self-renewal capacity, potential for differentiation into neurons and glial cells, and gene expression profiles.
