Examination the impact of probiotic bacteria on the effectiveness of immunotherapy for melanoma.

This study examined the effect of the Bifidobacterium adolescentis 150 strain on the progression of murine melanoma in conjunction with anti-PD1 therapy. The introduction of this strain was found to significantly accelerate the development of tumor cells and compromise the health of the experimental animals. Additionally, alterations in the transcriptional profile of cancer cells were observed, including increased expression of genes associated with resistance to anti-PD1 treatment.
