RADIANT: Raw experimental data, Geant4 particle transport simulation source code and output, and statistical analysis files supporting a novel hydrogen-boron-graphene polyethylene composite spacecraft radiation shield study
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains all raw experimental data, Geant4 11.2.2 particle transport simulation source code and output files, and statistical analysis spreadsheets generated during the development and testing of the RADIANT multilayer spacecraft radiation shield. The RADIANT shield is a novel six-layer composite incorporating a hydrogen-boron-graphene polyethylene (HBGPE) composite as the primary radiation-stopping and neutron capture layer, a cerium-doped scintillation epoxy layer for radiation-to-photon energy conversion, and a graphene-polycaprolactone charge collection layer for electrical output generation. Files include: raw electrical output measurements under controlled infrared energy input across seven flux conditions (n = 5 replicates per condition); thermal retention measurements across four temperature regimes (n = 5 per regime); mechanical deformation under compressive loads from 20–100 N (n = 5 per load level); nineteen Geant4 simulation runs spanning protons (10 MeV to 1 GeV), electrons (0.1–10 MeV), gamma rays (0.1–1 MeV), alpha particles (25–250 MeV), and neutrons (1–14 MeV), including a four-angle angular dependence study (0°–60° oblique incidence) and direct comparison runs against equivalent-thickness aluminium shielding; complete Geant4 source code (C++ DetectorConstruction, PrimaryGenerator, SteppingAction, RunAction, EventAction classes) with CMake build files and macro files for all 19 simulation runs; and linear regression, one-way ANOVA, and Shapiro-Wilk normality test statistical analysis outputs. All data support findings reported in the associated manuscript submitted to Scientific Reports.
