本库资料来源于《图解植物学词典》（作者是詹姆斯.吉.哈，王宇飞等人译，2001年科学出版社出版）一书。作为图文并茂的植物学工具书，图解词是这本工具书的创新和特色，全书涵盖了绝大部分在植物鉴定和描述中涉及的词汇，涉及根、茎、叶、花、花序、果实等植物器官。每个词汇包括中、英文释义及其中英文描述四部分内容。书的术语解释简明扼要，线描图特征明显，便于读者准确、直观地理解词义。共有2400余条，并配以1900余幅精美的线描图。可供生物学、农学、林学、园艺学等学科及其相关学科的院校师生、研究人员和技术人员使用。

The materials in this dataset are derived from *Illustrated Dictionary of Botany*, originally authored by James G. Ha and translated by Wang Yufei et al., published by Science Press in 2001. As a well-illustrated botanical reference book, the illustrated term entries are the innovative and distinctive highlight of this work. It covers most of the vocabulary involved in plant identification and description, involving various plant organs including roots, stems, leaves, flowers, inflorescences, fruits and others. Each term entry contains four components: Chinese definition, English definition, Chinese description and English description. The term explanations in the book are concise and to the point, while the line drawings have distinct characteristic features, enabling readers to accurately and intuitively understand the meanings of the terms. There are more than 2400 term entries in total, accompanied by over 1900 exquisite line drawings. This resource can be used by teachers, students, researchers and technical personnel from colleges, universities and related research institutions in disciplines such as biology, agronomy, forestry, horticulture and other related fields.
