This project aimed to assess the transcriptomic changes occurring in cork oak tap roots in response to osmotic (simulated drought), heat and combined (heat and osmotic) stress. Two regions of the taproot (8 days after radicle emergence) were sampled independently: root tip (primary development) and mature root (1cm below root collar, secondary development).
