Primary human amniotic epithelial cell RNA sequencing and comparison with other cell sources.

Amniotic epithelial cell (AEC) is a somatic stem cell which could differentiated into many kinds of somatic cells including hepatocyte. However, AEC to hepatocyte differentiation protocol was not established and differentiation key factor was not confirmed. In order to reveal the stem cell characteristics of AEC and unknown hepatic differentiation factors, we analyzed RNAseq of primary human AEC, and compared it with reported RNAseq of other stem cells, stem cell derived hepatic like cells, and hepatocytes.
