资源简介:
Dataset for the publication "Distribution of atmospheric aerosols during the 2007 Mars dust storm (MY 28): Solar infrared occultation observations by SPICAM " by Fedorova et al. Includes a list of orbits, and extinction profiles at 1152 nm in km-1, effective radius in mum, number density in cm-3, mass mixing ratio in kg/kg for dust and H2O ice aerosols from SPICAM/Mars-Express solar occultation observations from Ls=255 to Ls 305 of MY28 in the period of the Global Dust Storm of 2007. The nature of aerosol can't be distinguished by SPICAM IR. The Martian Climate Model and MCS/MRO observations were considered to determine the H2O ice for detached layers detected during observations. If the nature of aerosol was doubt, both H2O ice and dust properties were included in the files. If the MCD + MCS preferred ice but there was no a detached layer, both H2O ice and dust retrieved parameters were included in the files. Data contains folders with the list of orbits and aerosol properties and extinction profiles for each occultation of MEX where SPICAM IR had measurements. Effective radius, variance, MMRs data files are named "SPICAM_XXXXAY_aerosol_profiles.txt", extinction data files are named "SPICAM_XXXXAY_extinction_profiles.txt", where XXXX is the decimal orbit number, Y is the occultation number in orbit.
