Data and analysis code for "G6-1.5K-MCB: Marine Cloud Brightening Scenario design for the Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP)", a manuscript under review at Geoscientific Model Development. Additional Data and analysis code for "The Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP)contribution to CMIP7". File descriptions: e3smv2_cases.zip : Case directory with configuration files for E3SMv2 G6-1.5K-MCB simulation and netCDF file storing the SSA emission distribution in the simulation. cesm2_cases.zip : Case directories with configuration files for CESM2 G6-1.5K-MCB simulations and netCDF files storing the SSA emission distribution in the simulations. G6-1.5K-MCB Figure notebook.ipynb : Jupyter notebook with code to generate figures used in manuscript "G6-1.5K-MCB: Marine Cloud Brightening Scenario design for the Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP)" plotting_utils.py ; aprp.py : Python scripts including functions used by Jupyter notebook mcb_simulation_info.json : JSON file with information on simulation names and MCB emission regions used by Jupyter notebook grid_info.tar.gz : netCDF files with latitude, longitude, area, and land fraction information for the three ESMs used in this manuscript ControlLog_{CASENAME}.txt : text files logging emission rates used in each MCB controller simulation netcdf_files_for_g6mcb.tar.gz : Tarball containing netCDF data outputs from CESM2, UKESM1, and E3SMv2. Included variables are those required to generate files in the Jupyter notebook. miroc-e2sh_netcdf_files_for_g6mcb.zip : zip archive containing netCDF precipitation (pr) and 2m temperature (tas) data outputs from MIROC-E2SH. miroc6_gridinfo.nc : netCDF file with latitude, longitude, area, and land fraction for MIROC-ES2H 2026 GeoMIP7 - G6 MCB figures.ipynb : Jupyter notebook with code to generate figures used in manuscript "The Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project (GeoMIP) contribution to CMIP7".
