采用常规的光模块消光比评估测试框图，以及灵敏度的相应测试框图，对光模块的这两个指标进行评估。消光比数据直接从示波器读取，模块灵敏度，是在保证达到所要求的误码率5*10E-5的条件下，接收机所需要的最小输入光功率。

Two key performance metrics of optical modules were evaluated using the conventional test block diagram for extinction ratio assessment and the corresponding test block diagram for sensitivity measurement. Extinction ratio data was directly read from an oscilloscope. The receiver sensitivity of the optical module is defined as the minimum input optical power required at the receiver, under the condition that the specified bit error rate (BER) of 5×10^-5 is achieved.
