VPRS 9820 Vacancies and Appointments Circulars

These circulars are of two types. They overlap in September and October 1949.From 1938 to October 1949 the circulars were memos and advertisements for positions. The advertisements were placed in the metropolitan daily newspapers. Both the memos and advertisements include title of position, location, qualifications, desirable skills and experience and salary range.From September 1949 onward the circulars were in a formalised printed format for internal distribution. They included vacancies and appointments. Information about appointments includes position number, name of appointee and position previously held within the State Electricity Commission.In addition, some staff appointments are listed in VPRS 9670 Minutes of Commissioners Meetings.
