we have performed mRNA-Seq studies of the larval eye and antennal primordial at multiple timepoints within the third larval instar and white prepupal stages mRNA samples were isolated and sequenced from eye-antennal imaginal discs at 72h, 96h, 120h after egg laying (AEL) and at the white prepupal stage. mRNA was also isolated and sequenced from eye-antennal discs attached to cuticular mouthparts 72h AEL, and from separated eye and antennal portions of the eye-antennal imaginal disc 96h and 120h AEL, as well as from whole larvae 72h, 96h, and 120h AEL.
