资源简介:
Leonardo da Vinci was an universal genius; however, for a considerable time, he had been best known through pictures of his most famous artistic works. He would define himself 'omo sanza lettere' and therefore regarded himself as a 'discepolo della sperienza'. In fact he was a cultured and well-informed man. Despite it, he openly despised humanists, as they imitated the ancients. According to the studies conducted by Filippo Bottazzi (1867-1941), a great physiologist from Salento, Leonardo paved the way for the rise of scientific method and he proved his originality through his studies of biology and anatomy.
