Ecology Lab 2

Conducted by Gopaul Parbatie, Albert Lin, Gajamugan Rajavarothayan, and one other. This experiment was conducted by randomly placing a quadrat in 20 different location, ensuring the locations did not overlap, and visually obtaining the necessary data; number of different species, and estimating the percent coverage of a) vegetation and b) grass. This experiment was conducted in order to collect data on the plant species, and richness of the woodlots at York University. This lab was conducted on Thursday September 24, during the scheduled lab time of 2:30pm-5:30pm.
