Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Telford Way, Bedford, Bedfordshire, June 2022

This collection consists of site images, a report, and CAD vector drawings from an archaeological evaluation at Telford Way, Bedford, Bedfordshire. Works were carried out by Albion Archaeology in June 2022, with the work aiming to determine the significance of the potential impact of the proposed development on any archaeological remains that might survive within the permitted development area. The trial trenching revealed largely agricultural features, likely to be medieval-modern in origin. The archaeological field evaluation indicates that the Iron Age to Anglo-Saxon settlement previously excavated to the west does not extend into the area and that the proposed development is unlikely to have any impact on heritage assets of archaeological interest.
