WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from UNKNOWN from 1989-01-26 to 1990-02-22 (NCEI Accession 9000062)

This accession contains physical profile water depth and temperature data. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between January 26, 1990 and February 22, 1990 as part of Integrated Global Ocean Service System (IGOSS) project. The data were sent from the cruise ship to the Ocean product Center (OPC), Camp Springs, MD via telecommunication. This data containing 2,311 observations was submitted by Mr. William D. Newell and is offline on January 24, 2005 when this abstract was written. Please check the actual file format when data becomes available on line before uploading this abstract.

NOTE: There is a discrepancy in the ATDB record it says the start date is January 26, 1989. I suspect its a typographical error and start date should be January 26, 1990 as the no of observation and the type of data is for one month in 1990 and not 13 months.
