Gene expression analysis of zebrafish fin melanophores and xanthophores.

Pigment cells, melanophores and xanthophores were collected from zebrafish fin. Total RNAs were extracted from each melanophore and xanthophore, and cDNA libraries were prepared using SMARTer Ultra Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing-v3 and Ion Xpress Plus gDNA Fragment Library Preparation. The libraries were sequenced using the Ion PGM with Ion PGM OT2 400 kit and Ion PGM Sequencing 400 kit.
