City Search room registers are hard-covered, bound volumes, which readers were required to complete each time they visit the Search room. The series records the following details: date, time of arrival, name, signature and reader’s ticket number/undertaking.Although the City Search room service had been in operation from late 1978, with the separation of the Archives Office from the State Library, this series commenced from 02/01/1990.
