The peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important oilseed crop, almost 60% of the peanuts are used to produce peanut oil in China. We are interested in the genes which control the quality of peanut oil. We employed RNA-seq to analyse the transcriptomes of the immature seeds of three different peanut varieties with different oil contents.
