Institutional constraints shape threshold-dependent transitions in land–carbon systems under coupled socioeconomic and climate scenarios—dataset

This repository contains the datasets and source code supporting the study on land-use change simulation, carbon storage assessment, and driving factor analysis. Files Included 1. Plus_landuse.zip Land-use simulation datasets generated using the PLUS (Patch-generating Land Use Simulation) model. The archive contains land-use prediction results and related spatial datasets used in scenario simulations. 2. Invest_carbon.zip Carbon storage assessment datasets generated using the InVEST (Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs) model. The archive includes carbon pool parameters, spatial carbon storage outputs, and related intermediate datasets. 3. xgb.py Python script for XGBoost model construction and SHAP-based interpretation analysis. The script was used for feature importance analysis and nonlinear relationship interpretation. Software and Platform The analyses were conducted using:Python;ArcGIS;PLUS model;InVEST model Data Availability All processed datasets and source code are publicly available in this repository to support the transparency and reproducibility of the study. The raw datasets used in this research were obtained from publicly accessible remote sensing products and public databases cited in the associated manuscript.
