Digital Archive from a Magnetometer Survey at Furzen Leaze Solar Farm, Siddington and Kemble, Gloucestershire, February-March 2025

This collection comprises raw and minimally processed magnetometry data, greyscale images of processed magnetometry data and a CAD drawing from a geophysical survey at Furzen Leaze Solar Farm, Siddington and Kemble, Gloucestershire. Work was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd February and March 2024. The results of the survey indicate the presence of a small number of enclosures and linear ditches in the northern part of the site, along with two small ring ditches and linear ditches and pits in the east. There is widespread evidence for formerly mapped field boundaries along with former ridge and furrow cultivation and more modern land drainage. A large number of naturally formed linear, rectilinear and pit-like anomalies can be seen within the site and it can be difficult to differentiate between those with a natural origin and those with an anthropogenic origin.
