This file contains raw phenotypic data corresponding to summed irradiance values from spectra measured between 195 and 1120 nm on the adaxial surface of three leaves per cultivar. The dataset includes the integrated values of:
- the light spectrum reflected by the sample (“Is”),
- the spectrum of incident light reflected by the reference background while a sample is placed on the adjacent port (“Ir”),
- the light spectrum transmitted by the sample (“It”),
-the spectrum of stray light scattered diffusely within the integrative sphere (“Id”, used to correct the other spectra for unwanted stray light effect).
They were used to calculate the reflectance (“Reflectance”) and transmittance (“Transmittance”) as Reflectance = (Is-Id)/(Ir-Id) and Transmittance = It/Ir.
3 leaves per cultivar were measured in one block. Cultivar number (“CodeVar”), its position (“Block”, “Row”, “Position”), number of the measured leaf (“Num_leaf”) are combined in the column “Leaf”. The date (“Date”) is specified in the dataset.
This dataset was analysed in the R scripts “BLUPs_extraction_all_traits.Rmd” to explore the variability of reflectance and transmittance and extract genotypic values (BLUPs) for both variables.
