资源简介:
Minimedusa polyspora FBL 503 (Cantharellales, Agaricomycotina), isolated from soil-litter interface of the Mediterranean maquis, Italy (Pinzari et al., 2014), is a cellulolytic fungus with a high biotech potential (see Spinelli et al., 2022). Minimedusa polyspora FBL 503 tolerated naphthalene, phenanthrene, pyrene (20 mg/L) and a mix of them (1:1:1). Furthermore, this strain showed ability to produce biosurfactants (Spinelli et al., unpublished results). Here, we report the draft genome sequence of the strain FBL 503 with statistics of genome assembly (i.e., N50, number of genes and scaffolds, genome size). The genome was assembled denovo and was used to functionally annotate M. polyspora FBL 503 (see Davolos et al., 2021). Mining the genome of M. polyspora FBL 503 also allowed the identification of biosynthetic gene clusters for secondary metabolism pathways. Our genomic data on M. polyspora FBL 503 are a basis for transcriptomic approaches of this strain under exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The strain FBL 503 is preserved in the mycological collection of Fungal Biodiversity Laboratory (FBL), Department of Environmental Biology, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. The Department of Technological Innovations and Safety of Plants, Products and Anthropic Settlements (DIT), INAIL, Research Area, Rome, Italy, financially supported the whole genome sequencing of M. polyspora FBL 503 as part of the NGS Project in the PAR 2019-2021.
