Talaromyces trachyspermus strain:IRAN 3054C Genome sequencing

This genome belongs to an isolate of Talaromyces trachyspermus isolated from symptomatic broomrape plants with necrotic stems. This isolate showed biocontrol effects against this parasitic plant and against several plant pathogenic fungi under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. We aimed to sequence its genome in order to study its genomic resources for biocontrol features of this very promising isolate.
