This repository contains the model code and simulation outputs supporting the manuscript "Ecosystem complexity as an evolutionary buffer against anthropogenic pressure." The eco-evolutionary community model integrates quantitative genetics with size-structured multispecies dynamics, extended from the Mizer framework (Scott et al., 2014). All simulation scenarios described in the manuscript—including the baseline scenario, food web complexity gradient, trophic level comparisons, and indirect evolutionary effects—can be reproduced using the provided code. Simulation results include genotype and phenotype composition, population mean trait values, genetic diversity, and species biomass trajectories for all scenarios.
