PIPdb is the first dedicated database cataloging 792,964 plasmid segments (PSCs) from 1 million+ pathogen genomes across 450 species, offering multi-dimensional metadata (geography, habitat, host) and functional annotations (virulence/antibiotic resistance genes). It features risk-scoring for high-risk plasmids, integrated annotation tools, and focuses on tracking antimicrobial resistance (ARG) spread under the 'One Health' framework.
