资源简介:
The explorations of natural populations of vibrios and their infective phages revealed a high specialization of phages but also suggest that divergence in vibrio ecology is reflected in interactions with different groups of phages and host range of the phages, which constitutes our present working hypothesis. We performed a time serie sampling of two species of vibrio, V. crassostreae (see Piel et al, 2021) and V. chagasii (present set of data). While V. crassostreae is positively associated to Pacific oyster and associated to juvenile disease, V. chagasii might first bloom in the water instead of reproduce more specifically in oysters. This divergence between V. crassostreae and V. chagasii provides an opportunity to study the relationship between ecology and diversity of the hosts with host range and diversity of the phages.
