Compare the gene expression profile of ES-1 grown on Fe(II) and thiosulfate Overall design: Grow ES-1 on Fe(II)-citrate and thiosulfate and sampled at mid-log, late-log and stationary phase for long-term experiment. Spike in FeCl2 to stationary thiosulfate-grown culture and sampled at 15 min, 35 min and 90 min after the FeCl2 spike. Extract RNA and perform RNA sequencing on those samples.
