Transcriptome analysis to reveal roles of candidate genes responsible for the retinal development. Mus musculus strain:ICR
收藏资源简介:
The retina is composed of six types of neuron and one type of glial cell. The retinal cells are developed from common retinal progenitors in a chronologically defined order. Although key transcription factors are known to regulate the retinal development, the epigenetic molecular mechanisms underlying the retinal development remain unclear. Based on our previous RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) analyses, we selected several candidate genes for the retinal development. In this project, to reveal the roles of the candidate genes, we performed loss-of-function and gain-of-function analyses, and investigated the comprehensive gene expression profile by RNA-seq after purification of a certain type of cell.
