Canadian Gallup Poll, August 1999

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly economic, political, and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past federal election, job security, and health care. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as the death penalty in Canada, the 'brain drain' to the U.S., high speed police car chases, and Jean Chretien. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables.
