Transcriptomic analysis of Nitrobacter winogradskyi Nb-255 under varying pH and nitrite concentrations

This study investigates the transcriptomic responses of Nitrobacter winogradskyi Nb-255 under varying pH levels (6.0 and 7.5) and nitrite concentrations (1 mM and 10 mM). By analyzing differential gene expression patterns under these environmental conditions, we aim to elucidate the physiological and regulatory mechanisms underlying nitrite oxidation and pH adaptation in this nitrite-oxidizing bacterium. These findings provide insights into the ecological roles and metabolic plasticity of Nitrobacter species in natural and engineered environments.
